Description
The Flexfilter EX is designed to withstand the overpressure of a potential explosion and is equipped with an explosion vent panel. The harmful effects of an explosion are minimized by releasing excess pressure and flames through this panel into a safe area. All Flexfilter EX modular components are fully electrically bonded and grounded. All electrical equipment is classified according to the EX dust explosive class. The module is equipped with either a standard 70-liter container with a pressure-balancing kit and a hopper, allowing the use of a conductive plastic bag for quick removal of collected dust, or a fully automatic discharge device with a conductive large bag and grounding cable for high-capacity dust extraction systems. The control filter allows the use of vacuum units not rated for explosive dust.

— Dust explosion class: St1 and St2
— Pmax: ≤10 bar
— MIE (minimum ignition energy) > 1 mJ
— MIT (minimum ignition temperature)> 205 ° C
