The KAF/DC cable mounting plate is designed to divert interference that may occur on cable shields. Grounding is achieved via screw connections. The DC version is designed only for direct mounting on a conductive surface. By wrapping the wire in the KAF area and securing it with cable ties, contact is achieved with the KAF. Mounting the KAF directly to the mounting panel ensures low-impedance grounding.
The use of two contact points ensures good noise rejection regardless of the position of the wire on the KAF.
