Engraving cutter

Engraving burins are conical tools (semi-circular ground carbide rods) with a cutting edge. The basic principle is that the smaller the burin's angle, the more consistent the engraving width, even if the material being engraved is not perfectly flush. When working with spindles without height measurement, we recommend using our special 15° burin. Its diameter ensures the smallest engraving width. The deeper the burin penetrates the material, the greater the engraving width. The burin's angle determines the burin's depth-to-engraving width ratio.
