Description
The NRSZ rotary valve is used to transfer material between two separate systems. Pneumatic conveying systems typically require separating a filter or cyclone from a silo at atmospheric pressure. This is an ideal application for the NRS rotary valve.
The rotary valve can be used for most types of materials, although the particle size should not exceed 13 x 13 x 13 mm (0.5 x 0.5 x 5 in).
The NRSZ rotary valve is a modular, robust device constructed from heavy-duty steel plate. Each module's rotor is equipped with a flexible coupling. This reduces the risk of damage during use and extends the service life of the device. The rotor is equipped with special rubber seals that provide an effective air seal between the inlet and outlet.
This type of rotary valve is certified for explosive dust types St1 and St2. The NRSZ is a protective system according to the ATEX definition.
Explosive dust type St1 can have Kst up to 200 bar m/s.
Explosive dust type St2 can have Kst up to 300 bar m/s.
