High vacuum valves, TAV 100/150

Manual and automatic valves for maximum efficiency of your vacuum system.

Description

TAV 100 and TAV 150 valves are primarily used as shut-off valves in main pipeline systems. Because the valves can be opened and closed automatically, the vacuum is always concentrated only on the connections, draw-off points, or machines that are currently in operation. This increases suction power, reduces operating costs, and minimizes the size of the vacuum system.

Description of ATEX models
Depending on the variant and application, many TAV 100 and TAV 150 units are marked in accordance with the ATEX Directive with the EX symbol and equipment category. All TAV 100 and TAV 150 variants with the EX symbol are classified as Category 3D equipment in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EC. This means that these variants can be placed in Zone 22 in accordance with Directive 1999/92/EC.
The manually operated TAV 100 MA and TAV 150 MA are suitable for installation in classified areas (Zone 22), even though they are not marked with the EX symbol. Manually operated equipment is not subject to Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX), so these valves are not marked with the EX symbol.
Other valves without the EX symbol (AC/DC valves) are not ATEX compliant and therefore should not be installed within the classified area. See the part number table below for those with EX included in the name to see which ones are ATEX compliant. .
