Description
Installed in the ductwork as part of a dust collection system, the inline spark arrestor significantly reduces the potential for fires in cyclones/collectors by reducing the number of sparks that can enter the cyclone or collector through the ductwork.
The spark arrester's effectiveness is based on a simple principle: disrupting the laminar airflow, which cools and extinguishes sparks before they reach the cyclone/collector. The device has no moving parts and requires no power supply.
QuickFit (QF) vents with clamps eliminate the need for rivets, screws, and welding, significantly reducing the time required for duct installation or replacement. The Inline Spark Trap can be quickly and easily installed into QuickFit vent systems or other ducts.
The air duct system is connected using an adapter, and it can be easily removed for cleaning. No calibration or other assistance from a factory technician is required.
The device must be installed in a horizontal position.
Recommended distance from the pipeline: at least ten diameters from the cyclone/collector.
Speed: 8 m/s – 25 m/s.
The built-in spark arrester does not replace the spark detection system or explosion isolation system. It is only an additional device.
- Simple and economical fire protection.
- Quick and easy installation and cleaning.
