Evacuation device SE2

Removal of used grease in single-line lubrication systems using the suction method

The SE2 suction device is a single-line, direct-acting device. It is designed to remove used grease from a bearing and transfer it to a separate container, such as the AFB 10 used grease container.

During the pressurization phase, the connected P 603S single-line pump transfers a preset volume of used grease from the bearing through a separate discharge channel into the AFB 10 container. When the P 603S single-line pump is purged, the vacuum created on the suction side draws the used grease into a measuring chamber. This chamber is emptied during the next pressurization phase. Several suction units can be connected in series. The final unit is equipped with a corresponding elbow fitting.

Its compact size allows the device to be used with small bearings. By agreement with the bearing manufacturer, it can be retrofitted to existing systems.

Technical characteristics and advantages

  • Used grease does not leak through the seals and does not contaminate the area around the bearing.
  • The ability to reuse used lubricants reduces the negative impact on the environment and conserves resources

Application areas

  • Pumping out used grease from friction points and bearings in combination with single-line lubrication systems, such as in wind turbines
