Flow limiter SMB 6

For circulating oil lubrication systems

The SMB 6 flow limiter is designed to divide the flow in a main pipeline into separate parallel streams. This flow is maintained independently of changes in system pressure and virtually independent of viscosity, ensuring a constant flow rate.

SMB 6 provides flow rates from 25 to 90 l/min (52.8–190 pints/min) and a pressure range of up to 200 bar (2900 psi). The flow limiter monitors oil flow using a signal transmitter or piston sensor. These indicators generate a fault signal when the flow rate drops to approximately 85 %.

The SMB 6 flow limiter is the ideal solution for applications with changing ambient temperatures and the need for a stable oil flow, such as circulating oil lubrication systems.
