Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) units with internal and external lubricant supply

The SKF LubriLean Smart minimum quantity lubrication system consists of a lubricant reservoir, one or more mixing control units, and lubrication lines with spray nozzles. Compressed air supplied to the system pressurizes the lubricant reservoir, which then delivers lubricant through a separate line to the spray nozzle via the piping system.

The aerosol delivered to the lubrication point is formed at the nozzle outlet using the Venturi principle. Air passing through the oil outlet port entrains the lubricant and converts it into a finely dispersed mixture. The nozzle's special concentric design creates a focused stream of oil-air mixture, preventing it from expanding, allowing the aerosol to be delivered to the lubrication point with extreme precision. This prevents aerosol contamination of adjacent components.
