Monitoring devices for lubrication systems
Various devices providing visual or electrical signaling are used for these purposes. These signals are analyzed by electronic control and monitoring devices, and the corresponding data is transmitted to the equipment control unit or operator.
Monitoring parameters
- Lubricant level in tanks
- Pressure in the pipelines of the centralized lubrication system
- Flow (quality) in the pipeline
- Volume (quantitative) in the pipeline
- Oil-air mixtures in the pipeline
- Contamination in filters
- Moving indicator elements
- Temperature in the lubricant reservoir and bearing temperature
- Moisture content of lubricants
Application areas
- Single-line lubrication systems
- Dual-line lubrication systems
- Sequential lubrication systems
- Multi-line lubrication systems
- Small-sized oil circulation systems
- Oil-air lubrication systems
- Minimum quantity lubrication systems
