ASPP System for Belt Conveyor

  • Automatic Dust Suppression System ASPP

In industries where it is necessary to transport bulk materials, there are always problems with the formation of large amounts of dust, which has negative consequences not only for transportation systems but also for the servicing personnel. A large accumulation of dust can lead to the formation of an explosive environment. The proposed dust suppression system is designed to prevent the formation of coal dust in transportation and handling areas of coal; this method can be used in mines, concentration plants, quarries, and other enterprises where dust generation occurs.

  • Advantages of ASPP

    • Easy installation and operation
    • Suitable for all types of belt conveyors
    • Customizable liquid flow rate
    • Operates only when transporting minerals on the conveyor
    • Requires no human intervention
    • Ideal in conditions without electricity sources
    • Automatic mixing and supply of emulsion with wetting agent to the irrigation nozzles
  • ASPP System for Belt Conveyor

The technical data of the system are determined by the characteristics and parameters of the components. This system has a certificate of compliance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union TP IC 010/2011, TP IC 012/2011.

Water is supplied from the fire-extinguishing tower with the addition of wetting concentrate from tank 8. As the transported mass moves along the conveyor belt, a slight sag of the belt occurs, and at this moment the wheel of the control irrigation device 4 contacts the belt and begins to move. When a certain wheel speed is reached, a valve inside the control irrigation device 4 opens, and water is supplied through flow regulator 2, filter 1 and injector unit 3, in which water is automatically mixed with wetting concentrate to pre-irrigation and humidification device 5. When water is supplied to injector unit 3, a vacuum pressure is generated in it, and the emulsion concentrate is sucked from tank 8 by self-priming. The concentration on the injector unit is adjusted by adjusting the throttle. When the conveyed material reaches the vertical control valve 7, it is activated to supply water or emulsion to the direct irrigation device 6, thereby irrigating the immediate transfer point. When there is no material on the conveyor belt, there is no contact with the vertical valve 7, no slack in the belt, and therefore no contact with the control device wheel. Thus, the water supply is stopped, enabling automatic operation of the automatic dust suppression system (ADS).

  • Injector installation ASPP.04.000

    Injector installation ASPP.04.000

The injector installation is designed for effective mixing of the supplied water with the concentrate. When water is supplied to the injector installation, the concentrate is automatically drawn in by means of reduced pressure. After this, uniform mixing occurs in the mixing pipe until a homogeneous emulsion is achieved. The concentration of the emulsion can be adjusted in the range of 1-10% using the adjusting device installed on the injector installation. Capacity up to 250 l/min.
