Tandem pump MOS/MOP212 - MPG101

For lubrication with oil and plastic grease

Machines such as balers require simultaneous lubrication of both chains and bearings during operation. A combination oil pump (MOS/MOP 212) and a pump for plastic lubricant (MGP 101) is a tandem pump for both types of lubricant. While the machine is running, this combination automatically lubricates the chain with oil and the bearings with grease using a single system.

The MOS 212 oil lubrication system consists of a mechanically driven MOP 212 oil pump and up to 12 pump elements. Three different output volumes can be configured using metering rings. A 4 mm diameter line delivers lubricant from each pump element to the drive chain. Oil is applied using brushes or felt pads. Felt pads are particularly convenient for applying oil to the entire chain. As the oil is applied, contaminants are removed from the chain, improving lubrication efficiency.

The MGP 101 grease pump can be added to the MOP 212 pump, or the MGP 101 can be driven by the MOP 212 pump. The MGP 101 can also be used alone as a grease pump with a maximum speed of 20 rpm. The MGP 101 includes a K7 pump element and can be equipped with downstream metering devices, such as the SSV sequential metering device. The pump uses 150/310 g grease cartridges or standard 400 g cartridges (steel or transparent reservoir).

Technical characteristics and advantages

  • Reduced wear on chains and chain drives thanks to precise oil dosing
  • Mechanical drive - no need for additional electric drive
  • Extended refill intervals thanks to the 5L tank
  • The dosage amount is adjusted depending on the chain size/length and working conditions
  • Can be combined with the MGP 101 grease pump for plastic lubrication

Application areas

  • Agricultural equipment such as balers
