Motor damper

Category:

Description

The damper consists of a fan switch and a control unit, which can be controlled by a contactor or a circuit breaker. The control unit includes a 30 VA transformer for the exhaust arm lighting kit, a fan delay timer with a 0-5 minute interval, and two separate connections for sensor terminals.
Powered by a single-phase network, 110/120-220/240V, 50/60Hz. The damper is available in two versions: Manual Control (MDM), which uses a switch on the suction nozzle of the hose, or Automatic Control (MDA), which uses a sensor clamp on the welding equipment for automatic fan start and damper control.

  • Provides optimal airflow in a multi-station system
  • Reduces energy costs and increases efficiency
  • Allows the use of a smaller fan and automatic start/stop function
  • One or two sensor clamps can be connected to the operation box
