Oil pump MOS/MOP 101/201

For chains operating at low speed

The MOS 201 is a mechanically driven oil lubrication system consisting of several MOP 201 mechanically driven oil pumps. The pumps are connected directly to the chain. The system is suitable for continuous operation.

The MOS 201 system allows for the lubrication of multiple independently operating chains. It is particularly suitable for equipment requiring the lubrication of more than five chains. A single lubrication pump is used for each chain and lubrication point. A loop supply system provides a centralized oil supply to parallel pumps. For smaller systems, such as chains in agricultural machinery, SKF offers the MOP 101 as a feed pump with a 5-liter reservoir.

Technical characteristics and advantages

  • Reduced wear on chains and chain drives thanks to precise oil dosing
  • Only the chain whose drive is currently engaged is lubricated. Over-lubrication and oil dripping are prevented.
  • Mechanical drive - no need for additional electric drive
  • For lubrication of more than 5 chains

Application areas

  • Packaging machines, such as palletizing machines
  • Agricultural machinery
