Cable lubricator

Increased cable life and reduced lubrication time

The Lincoln rope lubricator is installed on equipment for lubricating ropes at monthly, quarterly, or other intervals. Lubrication intervals are determined in accordance with the rope manufacturer's specifications. The service life of a regularly lubricated steel rope is approximately six to eight times longer than that of an unlubricated rope. A biodegradable grease (LGGB 2) is available specifically for use with rope lubricators. This grease is environmentally friendly and carries an eco-label.

Lubricating the rope also prevents corrosion. Corrosion can be internal or external, and is often caused by exposure to acids, alkaline water, high salinity, humidity, steam, and abrasive and industrial environments.

Description

Cable lubricator

Groove cleaner

The groove cleaner is a complement to the Lincoln cable lubricator and removes contaminants and used lubricant from the cable before it passes through the lubricator. Using the cleaner improves the penetration of new grease and enhances the effectiveness of corrosion protection, helping to extend the cable's life.

Each groove cleaner is custom-made based on the rope's specifications to ensure the device's profile precisely matches the rope's strand geometry.

The groove cleaner consists of a cleaning device, a spacer sleeve, and a sleeve support to reduce wear. To increase durability, the cleaner is made of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU).

How to order a complete cable lubrication system?

  1. Select a seal and roller kit according to the cable diameter.
Interchangeable kits contain seals and rollers for cables of the corresponding diameter.
  2. Select one or more lubricator housings for the cable in accordance with the selected set of seals and rollers.
  3. Select a pump and accessory kit for a lubricant reservoir of the required size.
  4. Select a spacer sleeve depending on the nominal diameter of the cable.
  5. Separating the sleeve is fastened by using supports. This applies to all spacer bushings.
  6. Cleaner grooves Designed and manufactured to precise cable dimensions. To place a product request, please provide cable specifications or send a sample. For effective cleaning, the groove cleaner should be secured with a special T-bolt (included).
