LGEV 2 - Extra high-viscosity plastic grease with solid lubricant additives

Categories: ,

Description

SKF LGEV 2 is a mineral oil-based grease with a lithium-calcium soap base. It features a high molybdenum disulfide and graphite content combined with a particularly high-viscosity oil. This ensures excellent equipment protection under extremely harsh conditions, including high loads, strong vibrations, and slow rotation.

Technical characteristics and advantages

  • Very good lubrication of large spherical roller bearings under high load and slow rotation conditions where micro-slip is possible
  • High mechanical stability, good anti-corrosion properties and water resistance

Application areas

  • Rotary bearings
  • Support rollers for rotary kilns and dryers
  • Rotary excavators
  • Large-sized slewing bearings
  • Heavy-duty roller mills
  • Crushers
