Description
SKF LGEP 1 is a high-viscosity, low-consistency mineral oil-based grease with a lithium-calcium thickener. Ideal for lubricating large bearings operating under heavy loads and low speeds, LGEP 1 was developed to extend maintenance intervals and minimize downtime.
Features and Benefits
- Excellent mechanical stability
- Very good protection against abrasion and wear
- Good fluidity at low initial temperature
- Good flow properties allow easy replenishment of grease in the bearing structure.
- Low friction characteristics help maintain low operating temperatures
- Excellent water resistance and corrosion protection
- Good pumpability
Typical applications
- Wind turbine main shaft bearings
- Large bearing applications
- Heavy industry
- Centralized lubrication systems
