Cyclones are typically used when maximum preliminary separation of collected material from the airflow is required. Cyclones are typically installed in silos, tanks, containers, etc., suitable for storing collected material, as a blind chamber beneath the cyclone. A filter section is typically installed between the cyclone and the vacuum power unit.
