FilterBox 12A ePTFE

With automatic cleaning for medium and heavy-duty smoke and dust removal.

Description

When mobility, flexibility, and compactness are key, a mobile solution is often the best way to avoid exposure to pollutants. The Nederman FilterBox line of mobile dust and fume extraction units easily moves throughout your facility to wherever extraction is needed. Our wide product range makes it easy to find a model with the required performance, features, and filter type.

The FilterBox 12A++ features a fan with a maximum airflow of 1,200 m³/h and is ideal for intermittent dust or smoke applications. The ePTFE media technology used in the 13m² cartridge is ideal for challenging dust or smoke applications. This technology provides significant operational benefits, such as higher efficiency and filtration speed, resulting in better filter cleanability and longer cleaning intervals. These benefits translate into improved filter life, performance, and lower cost of ownership.

The FilterBox features an advanced control system that indicates pressure drop via a series of LEDs and an LCD display. When air flow is too low, an audible signal precedes the start of an automatic, motorized compressed air cleaning cycle. For dusty applications, the unit is cleaned mechanically. For welding vapors, it uses a combination of mechanical cleaning and compressed air cleaning. A built-in muffler reduces fan and exhaust noise. Additional protection from harmful particles is provided by installing an optional HEPA filter.
FilterBox 12A++ is available as a mobile unit on wheels and for stationary installation.

Caution! The FilterBox is not intended for use in environments where explosive dust or gases are present, and is not intended for filtering combustible dust or gases.

  • Automatically controlled, with mechanical and pneumatic cleaning for a long filter life
  • LCD panel with operating status indication and menu system for setting parameters
  • Possibility of connecting a pneumatic tool, a 1-phase electric tool, or a clamp with a sensor to automatically start the fan when welding begins.
  • The backlight and fan starter button are located on the exhaust nozzle. An automatic shutter prevents dust from being blown back during filter cleaning.
  • Filter rating MERV 15 according to *ASHRAE Standard 52.2, 2017, tested by an independent laboratory. Certified by an independent laboratory for welding fumes of category W3 according to EN 15012-1.
