Description
When mobility, flexibility, and compactness are key, a mobile solution is often the best way to avoid exposure to pollutants. The Nederman FilterBox line of mobile dust and fume extraction units easily moves throughout your facility to wherever extraction is needed. Our wide product range makes it easy to find a model with the required performance, features, and filter type.
The FilterBox 12A is equipped with a powerful fan with a maximum capacity of 1200 m3/h and is ideal for medium-term operation with dust or smoke.
The FilterBox features a modern filter management system that indicates pressure drop via a series of LEDs and an LCD display. When airflow is too low, an audible signal precedes the start of an automatic cleaning cycle. For dust applications, the unit is cleaned mechanically. For welding fumes, it uses a combination of mechanical cleaning and compressed air cleaning. A built-in muffler reduces fan and exhaust noise. Additional protection from harmful particles is provided by installing an optional HEPA filter.
FilterBox 12M is available as a mobile unit on wheels and as a permanently installed unit.
Caution! The FilterBox is not intended for use in environments where explosive dust or gases are present, and is not intended for filtering combustible dust or gases.
To filter dust, the filter is cleaned by mechanical shaking. To filter welding fumes, the filter is cleaned using a combination of mechanical shaking and blowing with compressed air.
When filtering welding fumes, it is necessary to blow out the filter with compressed air.
- User-friendly, high filtration performance, with mechanical and/or pneumatic filter cleaning for long service life
- LCD panel with operating status indication and menu system for setting parameters
- Possibility of connecting a clamp with a sensor to automatically start the fan at the start of welding.
- An automatic shutter prevents dust backflow during filter cleaning. Filter element replacement and container emptying eliminate dust emissions.
- Filtration efficiency M6 (EN779), MERV 11 (ASHRAE 52.2, 2017). Certified by an independent laboratory for welding fumes category W3 according to EN 15012-1.
