CEPLATTYN GT 3 is specially designed for the lubrication of open gears operating under critical conditions: low-speed kiln drives with elevated tooth flank temperatures, high-power mill drives, and open gears operating in continuous start-stop mode. CEPLATTYN GT 3 contains flame retardants that reduce the risk of ignition, such as
from hot furnace housings. Furthermore, CEPLATTYN GT 3 has limited mobility outside the gear mesh, preventing it from leaking outside the gear housings. Unlike conventional fluids, CEPLATTYN GT 3 forms a thick lubricating film on the tooth flanks that remains in place even after the equipment is stopped. Therefore, CEPLATTYN GT 3 reliably protects open gears from wear even during startup, something traditional lubricants cannot provide. The high content of white active solids prevents scuffing even under unfavorable lubrication and gearing conditions.
