Description
Plastic lubricant for couplings with a metal spring element and toothed couplings
LMCG 1 is a mineral oil-based grease thickened with polyethylene and lithium complex. This grease's formula allows flexible toothed and metal-spring couplings to withstand high centrifugal forces and torque, even under severe impact loads, misalignment, and vibration. It eliminates grease leakage at high speeds and maintains a stable consistency. Special additives ensure the grease's suitability for high loads and torques, high humidity, a wide range of speeds, and a wide temperature range.
Technical characteristics and advantages
- Excellent resistance to oil separation
- Possibility of operation at high accelerations and rotational speeds
- Excellent lubricating properties at high torques
- Good corrosion protection
- Exceeds AGMA Type CG-1 and AGMA Type CG-2 requirements
- Effective protection of the coupling from wear
- Excellent oxidation stability
- Due to low oil separation it is suitable for use in centralized lubrication systems
Application areas
- Couplings with a metal spring element.
- Toothed couplings.
- Flexible toothed couplings and couplings with a metal spring element for heavy-duty applications.
- Low maintenance costs, long service life of metal spring element couplings and toothed couplings.
Application areas
- Heavy industry (mining, mineral processing, cement, steel, pulp and paper).
- Shipbuilding.
- General mechanical engineering (petrochemical industry, power plants, etc.).
